This is very poorly designed, there is no cap, you push a white slider on the side to pop out the USB connector, however, when trying to push the drive in to the computer you need to hold the slider to prevent the connector from going back inside the casing. This can often prove difficult depending on the angle of the USB Port. Its a horrible design.
The quality feels very tacky and cheap.
I have had mine for a year, maybe two and had no problems with the drive itself though.

Get one of these every time a new Foster Child arrives now they go with a memory stick as well as a memory box does what it says on the tin

We have 4 of these in our family and have them for years. They are very good as the USB connection is retractable! I have lost pen drives in the past due to hitting it by accident and snapping them! The speed is great, according to reviews even now in 2010! these are still up there with some of the best.

Worked well for 6 months, albeit with slower read & write speeds. THEN AFTER 6 MONTHS IT COMPLETELY DIED!!!!!1 star for the ok 6 months until it stopped working
