 Too slow for HD Panasonic TZ10 camera September 7, 2010

It is a pity that recommendations made by Amazon when buying one product don't often suit it. I bought a Panasonic TZ10 and had recommended this Sandisk card. The speed rating on this card is only 2 and this is far too slow for the camera to work properly in HD video mode. It cuts out after about 15 secs. Having tried to format it and being a camera shop and not getting an explanation, I was eventually told that to make videos you need a card of speed 4 or faster. I now have a speed 4 and a speed 10 card and they both work well.

Very good storage for the money paid. I used it in a 12 megapixel digital camera set to 4000x3000 with high quality images and could take about 2,500 photos.

Brilliant memory card. I was happy that I had such a large storage space for my holiday snaps. I knew I would never use 3000 photos but that they were available put me at ease.

Bought this about three weeks ago. The card arrived within 3-days.
I am using it in a canon eos 550d and it great, at 8mp setting it let me take over 3,500 pictures. No more having to change the card. I have also used it in a Toshiba Camileo , again it worked really well. Great speed and real value for money compared with the 8gb card
